Albert Raub, 1840-1904 (MSNS Class of 1860)

Albert Newton Raub was born in Leesburg, Lancaster County and was graduated from Millersville State Normal School in 1860.  He taught English at Kutztown Normal School and then became Principal of Central State Normal School in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.  He became Principal of the Academy of Newark, Delaware in 1888 and President of Delaware College where he served until 1896.  He published numerous textbooks over the course of many years.  He died in 1904 in Newark Delaware.
