Alexander Fyodorivich Kerensky (1881-1970) was a Russian lawyer and revolutionist who was a key figure in the 1917 Russian Revolution. He was the Minister of Justice in the Provisional Government in February 1917 and fled Russia after the November Revolution, spending the rest of his life in exile and dying in New York City.
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela (1918-2013) was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, political leader and philanthropist. He was imprisoned for 18 years, found guilty of sabotage and conspiracy to overthrow the government. He served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

Lech Walesa (1943-) is a retired Polish politician and labour activist. He co-founded and headed Solidarity, the first independent trade union in what was then the Soviet Bloc. He served as the President of Poland from 1990 and 1995 and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983.
