Mamie Geneva Doud Eisenhower (1896-1979) was the wife of the 34th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower.  Born in Iowa, she met her husband in San Antonio, Texas where the Doud family had a winter home.

Claudia Alta “Lady Bird” Johnson (1912-2007) was an American socialite and First Lady of the United States, wife of the 36th President, Lyndon Baines Johnson.  She was a strong advocate for the beautification of the nation’s cities and highways.

Barbara Pierce Bush (1925-2018) was First Lady of the U.S. from 1989 to 1993, wife of the 41st President, George H.W. Bush and she was the mother of the 43rd President, George W. Bush.  Mrs. Bush was the founder of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
